The triturator TR is utilised on the hot and high density treatment of pulp, where, to make better the quality of the production, it is necessary to eliminate highly polluting substances by dispersion, such as; wax, paraffin, etc.

The mixture coming from the horizontal press PO with a density up to 30% passing through a screw, it is pressed into a chamber at a temperature of approximatively 90° by using steam.

The heated mixture is forced through a series of rotors and fixed pins, where the friction between the fibres causes the impurities to disperse.
