The new generation screen type SHD are intended to replace the old kind of cleaning machines, thanks to their high cleaning degree, to the long life of their screening elements, but especially to their efficiency, that means a reduction of the costs supported till now for the pulp cleaning.

The high density screen type SHD has been studied and built to be installed in the stock preparation equipment, where it is necessary to obtain a high cleaning degree, tough utilising, as raw material, very contaminated macerated.

This cleaning system allows to obtain the following advantages:

- any reduction of the fibres length

- improvement of the pulp characteristics

- high cleaning degree

- remarkable reduction of fibres loss during the final discharge

- low specific consumption

These results are due to the utilising of a new slotted baskets, with a high percentage of open area, and due to the special rotors drawing.

This screen system could have different kind of applications, which can change in relation to the equipment where they are located and to the kind of material to work.

- Selection of 100% of mixture

- Fractionation of the mixture with 60-70% of short fibres and 30-40% of long fibres.
